Welcome to my Seascapes gallery.

My paintings are an expression of my love of the coast. Much of my work begins at the beach observing movement, textures and colour and responding to them in loose spontaneous marks. I prepare boards with collage papers and build layers and details on location. My colour palette is chosen to convey the feeling of calm and relaxation that I experience in proximity to the sea, and when surrounded by nature. As a keen sea and lake swimmer I have an affinity to water and use sea and lake water in my work.
